Full tilt!

Being too busy musically to post here is a happy problem to have! That’s been my fortunate situation lately, and it’s high time for an update! I’ve been playing happily at nursing homes, churches, farmers’ markets, historical societies, and other venues. I try to keep a running account of my gigs on Facebook, where you’re always welcome to follow the latest, and on my calendar.

For now I’m grabbing a moment to highlight a few selected events in July. This past winter I contacted area historical societies to introduce them to various presentations I offer. That effort has borne fruit! Coming right up:

  • Vintage Grange Songs – Fri., July 21, 7 PM, Effingham Historical Society, 1014 Province Lake Rd., Effingham, NH. Free/donations welcome.
  • Songs of the Abolitionists – Sun., July 23, 4 PM, Cornish Historical Society, Pike Hall, 17 Maple St., Cornish, ME. Free/donations welcome.
  • Songs of Women’s Suffrage – Wednesday, July 26, 7 PM, Kennebunkport Historical Society, Town House School, 135 North St., Kennebunkport, ME. Tickets  $15 members/$18 non-members. A very friendly press release is here.
