My true love David and I are finally righting our ship after bouts with COVID. It is a joy to have him here with me, in sickness or in health. Sadly, he returns to England next week.
Also this month, in addition to a number of nursing home, church, and farmers’ market gigs (full listings here), I look forward to these special events:
- Sat., Oct. 5, 4 PM – Vintage Grange Songs at the Arts Center at 8 Hancock, Hiram, ME – $5 – Under the auspices of Sacopee Valley Adult & Community Education, this event is TENTATIVE, conditional on enough pre-registrations. You can register here (an online booking fee of $1.99 applies) or skip the fee by calling (207) 625-3092. (If you leave a message, please note that there is no beep. Just start talking.)
- Tues., Oct. 8, 7 PM – Vintage Songs of Reform at the Buxton-Hollis (ME) Historical Society, featuring songs of the abolitionists, women’s suffrage, and the Grange – details here
- Sat., Oct. 19, 7 PM – Flooding the Village with Music, a variety show at the Majestic Theatre, Conway, NH to benefit and assist with flood recovery at the Conway Village Congregational Church (the “Brown Church”) – featuring DellaValla Trio, Andriana, Another Story, Simon Crawford, Dana Cunningham, and yours truly – Tickets $25
It would be a pleasure and a privilege to play for you!
