After some time in my home state of Maine, I’m delighted to have returned to my true love David Wallace-Lawrence in Barnard Castle, known locally and affectionately as Barney.
I’m already back in the groove with bellringing. How very handy that we live next to St. Mary’s Church with its tower and ring of eight bells!
Soon I’ll be reconnecting with the Music and Memories sessions led by Mike Bettison with his ukulele and melodeon. These gatherings bring people living with dementia, their carers, and community members together to sing.
The season is off to a good start!
