Coming and going…

I’ve been with my true love David Wallace-Lawrence in the UK for a spell and am soon to return to Maine. My activities here have included my usual bellringing, volunteering with my ukulele for Music and Memories sessions, and playing my sonically gorgeous new hammered dulcimer (by Tim Manning), which David gave me last year for my 70th birthday . I’ve also spent a great deal of time combing through the British Newspaper Archive to learn how fretless zithers have manifested in the UK. I recently had the privilege of sharing my findings with the history group of our local U3A. I plan to continue with and expand upon that research.

Once stateside, I’ll resume playing at nursing homes, churches, historical societies, farmer’s markets, and other venues (full schedule here). A few highlights:

It would be a pleasure and a privilege to see you!
